How Tuscaloosa County Voted In Tuesday's Primary

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The votes have all been counted from primary election day in Alabama, including for some local races in Tuscaloosa County that were decided Tuesday.

The Alabama Secretary of State's Office's unofficial results showed Tuscaloosa County tallied 28,295 ballots cast out of 145,777 registered voters for a turnout of 19.41%.

Primary races headed to a runoff will appear on the ballot on June 16.

  1. Doug Jones — 12,859 votes (83.43%)
  2. Will Boyd — 1,446 votes (9.38%)
  3. Yolanda Rochelle Flowers — 485 votes (3.15%)
  4. Jamel J. Brown — 404 votes (2.62%)
  5. Chad 'Chig' Martin — 163 votes (1.06%)
  6. Nathan 'Nate' Mathis — 56 votes (0.36%)

Governor (Republican)

  1. Tommy Tuberville — 10,876 votes (86.69%)
