Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Arrests Gordo Man

GORDO, AL — A Pickens County man is behind bars following an arrest warrant carried out last Friday by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

ALEA provided little in the way of details on the case, other than mentioning that the subject of the arrest warrant was Roy Acker, 59, of Gordo.

ALEA then said the warrant is in relation to an ongoing ICAC investigation, before saying that the findings will eventually be turned over to the 24th Circuit District Attorney's Office.
