Jaime Pate Named Next Principal At Northport Elementary
The Tuscaloosa County School System announced on Tuesday that Assistant Principal Jaime Pate will take over as principal.

NORTHPORT, AL — Northport Elementary School on Tuesday announced that Assistant Principal Jaime Pate will move into the role of principal after Jeff Campbell accepted the principal job at Gordo Elementary in neighboring Pickens County.
Pate has served as assistant principal for the last three years at NES and is a National Board Certified Educator. She is going into her 18th year in education.

Campbell, a graduate of Gordo High School, took the job at Gordo Elementary to be closer to family.
In terms of education, Pate holds a bachelors degree from the University of Alabama in Elementary and Special Education, along with a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of West Alabama.

Opened in 2008, NES serves students in kindergarten through second grade, as well as two special education pre-K classes. The school currently enrolls over 575 students.
