League Of Women Voters To Host Virtual 'Meet Your Legislators Night'
The online event on Feb. 23 aims to provide insight on proposed actions ahead of the 2023 legislative session.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa will host a virtual “Meet Your Legislators Night” on Feb. 23 to provide insight on proposed actions ahead of the 2023 legislative session.

The online event will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. the League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa's YouTube Channel and its Facebook page.

“With the 2023 Alabama Legislature convening in March, we feel it is important that our local legislative delegation share their respective views with their constituents on key issues that may be considered during the coming year,” LWV spokesperson Carol Prickett said.
Organizers explained that each legislator will be given a chance to present what he or she thinks the key issues will be for the upcoming 2023 legislative session. which will be followed by each lawmaker being asked prepared questions by the moderator.

The League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa said the following West Alabama legislators have been invited to participate:

- Sen. Gerald Allen, R-Tuscaloosa
- Sen. Bobby Singleton, R-Greensboro
- Rep. Kyle South, R-Fayette
- Rep. Ron Bolton, R-Northport
- Rep. Bill Lamb, R-Tuscaloosa
- Rep. Cynthia Lee Almond, R-Tuscaloosa
- Rep. Christopher England, D-Tuscaloosa
- Rep. A.J. McCampbell, D-Eutaw
