Moundville Teen Killed In Saturday Morning Crash On Bradley Road

One teenager is dead and another injured after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Bradley Road in southern Tuscaloosa County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Moundville teenager is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Bradley Road in southern Tuscaloosa County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the initial call came in at approximately 12:31 a.m. after a 2005 GMC Sierra driven by a 17-year-old juvenile from of Tuscaloosa left the roadway and struck several trees. ALEA said a 17-year-old passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash and neither of the vehicle's occupants were using seatbelts.

ALEA went on to say that both of the teens were ejected from the vehicle, with the passenger pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was also injured and transported to a local hospital following the crash.

The status of the driver has not been released at this time and the passenger killed in the crash has not been publicly identified by investigators.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
