'National Night Out' Set For Aug. 12 In Government Plaza

Local law enforcement and emergency agencies are inviting the public to National Night Out 2025

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Local law enforcement and emergency agencies are inviting the public to National Night Out 2025, set for Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa.

The annual event is focused on strengthening police-community partnerships and will feature hands-on equipment displays, rescue and K9 demonstrations, Q&A booths, food and more.

Agencies participating include the Tuscaloosa Police Department, Northport Police Department, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, U of A Police Department, Stillman Police Department, Tuscaloosa Fire & Rescue Service and the Tuscaloosa County Emergency Management Agency.

National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that promotes public safety awareness and community engagement.
