No Injuries Reported In Crescent Ridge Road Shooting Thursday

The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirms that no injuries were reported and two people are in custody after a shooting Thursday night.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Two people are in custody and no injuries reported following a Thursday night shooting at a Crescent Ridge Road gas station.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirmed to Patch that shots were fired at Smokers Outlet and 16th Street NE Thursday night, with callers reporting 3-4 people on scene. TPD then said the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office responded to the call and two people were in custody being questioned by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.

At the scene, the entire gas station was cordoned off, as evidence markers were scattered across the parking lot in front of the store and one car was partially covered in a tarp.
