Northport Gas Leak Prompts Temporary Road Closure
The City of Northport has closed a stretch of city street at 20th Avenue and 28th Street as crews repair a gas leak.
NORTHPORT, AL — The City of Northport has announced a road closure beginning Monday night as crews repair a gas line at 20th Avenue and 28th Street.

City Administrator Glenda Webb said Monday evening that working is underway to repair the leak, but it will result in a temporary road closure.
