Northport Man Jailed After Search Ends At Tuscaloosa Apartments
Kenzarian Lamark Harris, 36, also has pending cases for attempted murder, second-degree assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Northport man is behind bars after leading police on a high-speed vehicle chase and foot pursuit Friday afternoon that resulted in law enforcement descending on Crimson Student Living during an effort to locate him.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says Kenzarian Lamark Harris, 36, has pending cases in Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court for attempted murder, second-degree assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle. What's more, TPD pointed out that Harris not reported to his Tuscaloosa Community Corrections case manager since warrants for attempting to elude police and first-degree possession of marijuana were issued for his arrest May 24.

As Patch previously reported, officers spotted Harris driving a green Honda Accord at Hargrove Road and 10th Avenue at 1:12 p.m. Friday. Harris refused to stop after running two stop signs, leading them on a police on a pursuit for about a minute that reached speeds of 90 miles per hour.
Upon reaching the dead end of 11th Avenue, Harris abandoned the car and led the officers on a foot pursuit through the Crimson Student Living complex.

He was located in one of the units at 4:17 p.m., with as many as 24 patrol officers, motor officers and investigators involved in the search, along with with TPD's helicopter unit and members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
Harris was jailed on three no bond warrants for attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and second-degree assault charges.
TPD says the case remains ongoing and other charges are possible.
