Session's October 'Cocktail For A Cause' To Benefit Hank Poore Foundation

Session Cocktails in downtown Tuscaloosa has revealed its October Cocktail for a Cause, which will benefit The Hank Poore Foundation.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Session Cocktails in downtown Tuscaloosa has revealed its October Cocktail for a Cause, which will benefit The Hank Poore Foundation.

The downtown bar each month partners with different charities to create specialty cocktails and give a portion of the proceeds to the charity. As Patch previously reported, Tito's Handmade Vodka matches the donation from Session every month to selected nonprofit.

September's Cocktail for a Cause benefited Habitat for Humanity.

In partnering with The Hank Poore Foundation for its October cocktail, Session hopes to help the nonprofit in its mission to provide opportunities and experiences for people with disabilities.

Founded in September 2020, the nonprofit focuses particularly on providing accessible recreation in Tuscaloosa and the west Alabama area. These goals include adaptive water skiing and kayaking, accessible trails, and providing equipment for people with disabilities.

The Hank Poore Foundation also hopes to provide funding for families to rent beach wheelchairs while vacationing.
