The event each year has a theme and for this year, the theme will be "STARS in our HEARTS."

"Participants are able to run/walk in memory or in honor of the STAR in their HEART," Hospice of West Alabama said. "Signs will be available for participants to individualize and wear pinned to the back of their shirts throughout the day. Participants may also put the name of their loved one on the STARS in our HEARTS display board."

Along with the big race, attendees can shop with local vendors, while enjoying live music, face-painting, children's activities and an Easter egg hunt.
