RNC Confirms Tuscaloosa Will Host Fourth GOP Presidential Debate On Dec. 6

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel on Friday confirmed to national media that a fourth GOP presidential debate will take place Dec. 6 in Tuscaloosa.

The Associated Press reported on Friday that McDaniel made the announcement through a memo sent to campaigns.

In the memo, McDaniel said candidates qualifying for the debate must garner at least 6% in two approved national polls or 6% in one poll from two separate early-voting states: Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina.
Additionally, the New York Times reports that participants also need to amass at least 80,000 unique donors and at least 200 unique donors per state or territory in 20 or more states.
