Saban Center Names Jamie Burke Director Of Development
The Saban Center has named Jamie Burke its new director of development as the center continues preparations for its planned 2028 opening.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Saban Center has named Jamie Burke its new director of development as the center continues preparations for its planned 2028 opening.

Saban Center Executive Director Audrey Buck announced the appointment Thursday, which will take effect Aug. 24.

The Saban Center says Burke brings more than a decade of development experience to the role and most recently served as director of prospect management at the University of Alabama.
She previously served as associate director of development for UA's Styslinger College of Engineering and held other positions within the university's Division of Advancement, supporting fundraising, alumni relations and event management.

“We are delighted to welcome Jamie to the Saban Center team,” Buck said. “Her expertise, dedication, and longstanding service to the Tuscaloosa community make her an exceptional addition to our organization. We look forward to the meaningful impact she will undoubtedly make as we move toward our opening to the public in early 2028.”
In addition to her professional experience, Burke has been involved with several Tuscaloosa-area organizations.
She has served as vice president of membership for the Junior League of Tuscaloosa and as a mentor for FuelTuscALoosa.
Burke has also served on the board of directors for the Tuscaloosa County Chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association and as a member of the United Way of West Alabama Volunteer Allocation Team.
Before joining UA, Burke worked for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women in St. Louis and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
Burke earned a doctorate in higher education administration, a master's degree in library and information studies and a bachelor's degree in American studies, all from the University of Alabama.
