Our Shout Out for this Wednesday morning goes to 86-year-old Leroy Lane, a motorcycle mechanic who has served the city of Tuscaloosa and its police department for half a century. Lane retired this week after first starting on the job in 1964 and retiring as a lieutenant in 1989. He would return how as a mechanic for TPD's motor division in 1997. (Tuscaloosa Patch)
