Schedules, Sites Announced For TCSS Summer Meals Program
The Tuscaloosa County School System on Wednesday announced schedules for its TCSS Child Nutrition Team's summer meals program.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County School System on Wednesday announced schedules for its TCSS Child Nutrition Team's summer meals program.

The program allows all children age 18 and under to eat free of charge during the summer, with numerous locations around the county.

TCSS says all meals will be served inside its cafeterias.
Brookwood Elementary
- Weekdays, June 5 – 29 (Closed June 19)
- Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 8 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 am – Noon
- This site is open to children 18 and under who live in areas zoned for these schools: Brookwood Elementary, Brookwood High, Brookwood Middle, Lake View Elementary, Vance Elementary. The child does not have to be enrolled in one of these schools to eat, but should live in the school zone.
Hillcrest High
- Weekdays, June 6 – 27, July 10 – 31 (Closed June 19)
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 10 – 11:30 a.m.
- Open to anyone age 18 and under, regardless of where they live.
Holt High
- Weekdays, June 5 – 29, July 10 – 27 (Closed June 19 and all Fridays)
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 – 12:30 a.m.
- Open to anyone age 18 and under, regardless of where they live.
Sipsey Valley Middle
- Weekdays, June 5 – 29 (Closed June 19)
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 8 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:25 a.m. – Noon
- Open to anyone age 18 and under, regardless of where they live.
Tuscaloosa County High
- Weekdays, June 1 – 30 (Closed Mondays), July 10 – 20 (Closed Thursdays)
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11 a.m. – Noon
- This site is open to anyone age 18 and under, regardless of where they live.
Walker Elementary
- Weekdays, June 5 – 29 (Closed June 19)
- Breakfast: 7:30 – 8 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:20 a.m. – Noon
- Open to children 18 and under who live in areas zoned for these schools: Northside Middle, Northside High, and Walker Elementary. TCSS says the child does not have to be enrolled in one of these schools to eat, but should live in the school zone.
