"We received a call about a small pony hanging out in the Alberta neighborhood around 10 p.m.," TPD said in a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon. "He was extremely unwilling to go with the officers, and not at all interested in the pizza crusts or peppermints they offered."

TPD says it is unsure of the pony's name, dubbing him Ginuwine, for now.
Ginuwine reportedly led three officers on a "low-speed foot pursuit," following the pony up and down driveways and through back yards for nearly two hours.

TPD said the pony eventually allowed himself to be caught, and was "happy to get pets and pose for selfies."
The pony is being cared for and TPD has arranged a permanent home for Ginuwine in case his owners are not located.
