Stillman College Basketball To Host 'Student Night' Thursday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman Basketball on Thursday will offer special $5 tickets for students in Tuscaloosa-area schools and colleges for the Tigers' doubleheader against William Carey University.

The Southern States Athletic Conference double feature will tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the women's game, followed by the men's game.

In addition to students at Stillman College, this special rate includes all students at the University of Alabama, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa City Schools, Tuscaloosa County School System and the various local private schools and homeschool organizations.

Stillman women's basketball (12-5, 4-4 SSAC) is ranked No. 7 among all historic black colleges and universities (HBCUs) nationally by Urban Media Today, while the men's team (10-8, 6-4 SSAC) is ranked No. 25 in the Urban Media Today HBCU rankings.

Stillman College says general admission tickets are $10 for adults, and children 12-under are free with a paying adult.
