Stillman College Providing COVID-19 Vaccine To Public Next Week

The school will host the state health department, who will administer the Moderna vaccine on Tuesday and Wednesday next week,

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College on Friday announced it will provide a site for those in the public to receive coronavirus vaccinations next week, as the school looks to aid in the community push to increase the number of those vaccinated.

The school will offer the Moderna vaccine to those eligible on Aug. 24-25 at Birthright Auditorium on Stillman's campus, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

A photo ID will be required to receive a vaccine, which is only available to those 18 and older, per the Alabama Department of Public Health, which will administer the vaccines.

Those entering campus will be required to wear a mask when indoors and will have their temperature checked at the gated entrance to campus.
