Hueytown product Faith Byram (8-1) logged the win on the mound, giving the freshman pitcher her second Top-20 win in the same week, following a win over William Carey on Thursday.
Byram surrendered only one hit in the last four innings on her way to a complete-game win, holding Mobile to three hits and allowing only one walk. It was also a democratic win on the defensive side, as Byram struck out only two in the shutout win, but was backed by strong work in the field.
