Teen Victim Identified In Fatal Tuscaloosa Shooting

Xzorian Gray, 16, died shortly after being shot​ at the intersection of Foster's Ferry Road and 21st Street at approximately 11 p.m. Tuesday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Investigators have identified the victim killed in a Tuesday night shooting as Xzorian Gray, 16, who died shortly after being shot at the intersection of Foster's Ferry Road and 21st Street at approximately 11 p.m.

After Tuscaloosa Police received a call of the shooting and arrived on scene, Gray was immediately transported to DCH Regional Medical Center but died shortly thereafter.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the unit, previously said the shooting occurred in the roadway, and no nearby residences are believed to be involved. No arrests have been announced in the case as of Thursday.

The multi-agency Violent Crimes Unit was called out to assume the murder investigation, which is considered ongoing and active.
