  1. Tropical Storm Fred has re-developed over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico after weakening to a tropical depression. Tropical Storm Warnings are now being issued for a portion of the northern Gulf Coast ahead of additional advisories and warnings as the storm makes landfall (More on Patch)

  4. DCH Health System is working with volunteers from West Alabama Pediatrics, Tuscaloosa Pediatrics and Bama Pediatrics to offer the coronavirus vaccine on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. – noon. The effort is focused on a weekend vaccination option for children 12 or older, their parents and school staff as the new school year begins. (More)
