The musical fall musical — a production of "Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella" — was scheduled to be performed Oct. 1-3, at the Bama Theatre ahead of TCT’s 35th anniversary and return to the big stage. The production will now be slated for fall 2022.

“Despite taking many steps to safeguard our cast, crew, volunteers and artistic staff, we believe it would be very difficult to move forward with this production given the current COVID-19 surge in our community and the immediate outlook for cases to continue rising during our rehearsal period,” said Board President Marianne David. “Our top priority is to keep kids safe and now is not the time to gather children from different schools to sing and dance together, potentially exposing them, and the many adults who would work with them, to this highly contagious virus.”
