Tuscaloosa City Schools To Close Monday

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa City Schools (TCS) announced Sunday it will close all schools and offices Monday, Jan. 26, due to the potential for icy road conditions.

As Patch previously reported, all Tuscaloosa County School System schools will also be closed on Monday as the winter storm moves over Alabama.

TCS also said it is monitoring weather conditions closely and staying in communication with local meteorologists and the National Weather Service as temperatures drop and the possibility of ice remains.

TCS then said additional changes to the schedule will be communicated to families and staff early Monday.
