- District Attorney Hays Webb will be in attendance to speak on his office's Second Chance Diversion Program. The voluntary program allows participants the opportunity to have certain criminal charges dismissed, with individuals placed into one of four tracks based upon risk level and needs.
- Assistant County Administrator David Howell will give another update on the Tuscaloosa County Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
- Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) Executive Director Gary Minor will be on hand Wednesday morning to speak about a proposed upgrade to field lighting at Sokol Park. As Patch previously reported, the county gave PARA the green light to begin the RFP process for the project in November, which will replace lights that are roughly 30 years old with new-age LED lighting.
- District 1 Commissioner Stan Acker will propose using $5,610.42 in Community Development funds to help purchase a new lineman chute for Northside High School football, which he said will make for a nice compliment to the new turf play surface in the works for the Rams.
- District 2 Commissioner Jerry Tingle will also propose giving $10,000 in Community Development funds to the Town of Vance for infrastructure improvements.
