Tuscaloosa Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography
The West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force on Friday announced the arrest of a Tuscaloosa man for possession of child pornography.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force on Friday announced the arrest of a Tuscaloosa man for possession of child pornography.

The task force said Joe Bradley Garvin, 24, has been charged with 10 counts of possession of obscene material depicting a child younger than 17.

The arrest was made Friday morning and Garvin was later released from the Tuscaloosa County Jail after his bond was set at $150,000.
The investigation began in March, the task force said, after investigators a tip that Garvin was
in possession of material depicting child sexual abuse.

The task force, along with the Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and TPD’s Cyber Intelligence Unit, searched Garvin’s Tuscaloosa residence in July.
The search yielded 10 images and videos on Garvin's seized electronic devices.
The task force says additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.
