TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa teenager was killed and two juveniles injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Old Lock 15 Road near Howse Camp Road.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) on Sunday said at approximately 3:33 p.m. Saturday, an 18- year-old was critically injured when the 1997 Ford Explorer driven by the teen overturned, left the roadway and struck a ditch.

ALEA sats the driver was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and two juvenile passengers in the Ford were injured.
All three were transported to an area hospital, where the driver died from injuries suffered in the crash. The 18-year-old victim has not been publicly identified by name as of the publication of this story.
