Tuscaloosa Teen Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash Tuesday Afternoon
TPD is investigating a two-vehicle crash on 15th Street that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old Tuscaloosa man Tuesday afternoon.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a two-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old Tuscaloosa man Tuesday afternoon.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told local media that the victim’s Pontiac sedan was struck by an oncoming Ford F250 as he drove north from Second Avenue into the eastbound lanes of 15th Street.

While the driver of the truck suffered only minor injuries, Taylor said the teen driver of the Pontiac was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center and later died from his injuries.
TPD investigators responded to the scene and closed a portion of 15th Street for two and a half
hours.

The man killed in the crash has not been identified by name as of the publication of this story and the investigation is ongoing.
