TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 59 Thursday.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says at approximately 12:05 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 37-year-old Angela C. Henderson was killed when the 2013 Toyota Prius that she was driving left the roadway, struck a concrete barrier and overturned.

ALEA said Henderson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 71 mile marker.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
