Tuscaloosa Woman Stabbed During Domestic Dispute Saturday

Police say an altercation resulted in a woman being stabbed multiple times Saturday night at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating an altercation that resulted in a woman being stabbed multiple times Saturday night at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirmed to Patch that TPD officers were called a domestic dispute at Camelot Apartments at 615 Black Bears Way at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Investigators found that a woman had been stabbed multiple times and the suspect was not at the scene when officers arrived.

The victim was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment, but police said her wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been announced in the case and no suspects have been publicly named.

The investigation has now been handed over to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
