Victim In Critical Condition After Tuscaloosa Apartment Complex Shooting Tuesday Morning
A male victim is in critical condition after a shooting early Tuesday morning at Creekwood Village Apartments in Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit are currently on the scene of a shooting at Creekwood Village Apartments that resulted in one male victim being hospitalized.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media Tuesday morning that officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded at approximately 3 a.m. to the initial call at the apartment complex on 40th Avenue.

The victim is reportedly in critical condition as of the publication of this story.
This represents the second shooting inside the Tuscaloosa city limits since Saturday, when a man was shot while sitting in a vehicle on McFarland Boulevard near Midtown Village. It is unclear if the two shootings are related.
