WATCH: Northport Trailer Park Slammed With More Flooding
Here's the latest on flooding at a trailer park in Northport, which is just one instance of flash flooding across Tuscaloosa today.
NORTHPORT, AL — Northport officials are once again processing flooding at Willowbrook Trailer Park, but thankfully, the damage and flooding appears minimal in comparison with a devastating flood that slammed the mobile home community on June 19.

Both Mayor Bobby Herndon and District 2 Councilman Woodrow Washington III confirmed that there were no water rescues reporting from this flooding event. The water is receding as rain moves out of the area and no other major damage has been reported thus far in Northport.

Tuscaloosa, however, is a much different story, with widespread flooding reported in the downtown area and on the University of Alabama campus. This resulted in stranded vehicles, closed roads and viral videos of young people trying to swim or kayak through flood waters.
