WATCH: TCSS Officials Talk Proposed Access Road For New School
Patch caught up with TCSS Superintendent Keri Johnson and District 2 School Board Member Jamie Lake following Tuesday's public forum.

NORTHPORT, AL — Tuscaloosa County School System officials held a public forum Tuesday night at the Northport Civic Center for residents with concerns about a proposed access road from Highway 43 leading to the new Northport Intermediate School.
Many residents of the Grand Pointe subdivision were in attendance, as very numerous Northport city elected officials, TCSS Superintendent Keri Johnson and District 2 School Board Member Jamie Lake. Both pointed out that no decisions have been made, but urgency will be important to address traffic flow needs as the new school will open to students in August.
