TUSCALOOSA, AL — Monday at 5 p.m. marked the filing deadlines for candidates in legislative races to file monthly campaign finance reports with the Alabama Secretary of State's Office.

The latest fundraising period covers contributions and expenditures made between March 1 through March 31. Party primary elections in Alabama are set for May 24, with the general election scheduled for Nov. 8.
