Body Found At Sicard Hollow Water Works Facility

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - A dead body was discovered early Tuesday morning floating in an intake basin at the Birmingham Water Works facility on Sicard Hollow Road. An employee at the Cahaba Pumping Station made the discovery just after 7 a.m.

Reports from the BWWB said the body is that of a black male, but no other information regarding who the victim is or how he got there has been released.

The deceased is being transported to the Jefferson County Coroner's office.
