Vestavia Council Agrees To Annex Four Homes
The Vestavia Hills City COuncil voted to annex four different homes into the city limits at Monday's meeting.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL - The Vestavia Hills City Council Monday approved the annexation of four properties into the city, pending a 90-day annexation process.
According to a report from the Vestavia Voice, the properties up for annexation had to meet certain criteria, one of which was an assessment of the total value of the property. A guideline used by the council lately has been a minimum property value of $392,000.

- 2672 Dolly Ridge Road, a home valued at $429,000 that was recently purchased by 15-year Vestavia residents Niraj and Binita Parekh.
- 1722 Vestaview Lane, a home owned by Shades Mountain Baptist Church that is used by the church as a temporary home for visiting missionary families.
- 3640 Altadena Drive, which is part of Altadena Acres.
- 2300 St. Joseph Road, which is part of St. Joseph Retreat. The home is valued at $794,000.
Residents have 90 days to share comments or concerns with the city that could prevent the annexation.
