Federal land managers and Arizona Site Steward Program volunteers are teaming with local hikers to preserve the Richardson Homestead’s pioneer-era remains and broader cultural landscape, while inviting more residents to join future stewardship efforts.
   

5. Illinois pedestrian, 82, dies in Laughlin crash (reviewjournal.com) — An 82-year-old pedestrian from Illinois was struck by a Jeep in Laughlin and taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, where they later died from their injuries. The crash on South Casino Drive marked the 40th traffic-related fatality this year in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction and involved an 80-year-old Arizona driver who showed no signs of impairment.
