• Gilbert breaks ground on new Heritage District road connection (abc15.com) — A new Vaughn Avenue Connector is now under construction in Gilbert's Heritage District, creating an additional east–west route between Vaughn Avenue and Neely Street to ease traffic and improve access downtown. Funded by Gilbert's voter-approved transportation bond, the project supports ongoing Heritage District redevelopment, including new mixed-use projects and added commercial space that aim to boost walkability and local business growth.
   

• Volleyball Recap: Gilbert Christian Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win (maxpreps.com) — Gilbert Christian's volleyball team has stretched its winning streak to eight straight matches, including a 2–0 victory over North Valley Christian Academy. The Knights, now 11–1, quickly followed that win with another sweep of Payson, while North Valley Christian bounced back with a narrow win over Safford, keeping regional competition lively for local fans.
