Arizona Native Opens Mesa's First Color Me Mine Paint-Your-Own Pottery Studio

MESA, Ariz. (July 2, 2026) – Color Me Mine, the leading paint-your-own pottery franchise, is excited to open its newest studio in Mesa, Arizona, bringing a unique Art-as-Entertainment experience to the area for the first time. Located at 4537 S Power Rd D 105, Color Me Mine Mesa will kick off with a grand opening event full of family-friendly festivities on July 13.
Arizona Native Brings New Color Me Mine Studio to Mesa
The new studio is owned and operated by Janelle McCann, an Arizona native and Gilbert resident with nearly 20 years of experience as an SBA Franchise Underwriter. With a career built around helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of business ownership, McCann recognized an opportunity to use her extensive knowledge to become a small business owner herself. As a lifelong art enthusiast, she was immediately drawn to Color Me Mine's creative and community-focused concept and knew it was the perfect experience to bring home to her community.
“Growing up in Mesa, I never imagined that one day I’d have the opportunity to open a business in a community that has played such an important role in my life,” said McCann. “It feels like a full-circle moment, and I’m excited to create a space where local friends and families can come together, express their creativity and make lasting memories.”
Grand Opening Highlights July 13 Include:
·All-day celebration from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
·First 25 guests will receive a free mug to paint while supplies last
·Guests attending the grand opening can enter a raffle for the chance to win a gift card to Color Me Mine, Revel Surf Passes, a free surf lesson and a gift card to Hooligans Coffee.
