(blogspot.com) — Oro Valley is preparing for a 14% cut to its Central Arizona Project water deliveries in 2027 but expects to shield current customers using stored water and the Arizona Water Bank. Local officials say these measures only buy time, raising hard questions about whether the town should commit scarce future water to a large State Trust Land annexation while long-term replacement supplies remain decades away.
   

• Maggie Day remembered during 'Honor and Sacrifice' flag presentation in Oro Valley (kold.com) — Oro Valley residents gathered at the Arizona Heroes Memorial as local nonprofit Rockin' 4 Heroes presented an "Honor and Sacrifice" flag to the parents of paramedic Margaret "Maggie" Day, who died in a 2019 medical flight crash. The ceremony recognized her 18 years serving patients across southern Arizona and created a lasting tribute in town to her lifesaving work and sacrifice.
