Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:

  1. On Monday morning, a three-car crash on Interstate 17 left one person dead and two others injured. According to authorities, the accident took place around 4:00 a.m. near Cactus Road after one of the vehicles ran out of gas. The investigation with the Arizona Department of Public Safety is ongoing. (Phoenix Patch)
  2. With City of Phoenix offices closed for Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, here's what it means for city services. Valley Metro will operate its bus and light rail on a Sunday service schedule; customer service and transit center service windows will be closed. All Phoenix Public Library locations will also be closed. There will be no changes to trash and recycling services or parking meters. (Signals AZ)
