Original Breakfast House Celebrates Spirit of Aloha with New Specials Available Beginning AUG. 7

Original Breakfast House embodies the spirit of aloha every day of the year, but especially during August, which is “Aloha Month” at the neighborhood restaurant. Going far beyond a simple greeting, the “Aloha Spirit” is a Hawaiian philosophy of living centered on love, compassion and mutual respect.
In honor of this, Original Breakfast House has announced its Aloha Month specials, available beginning Friday, Aug. 7:
Breakfast
Loco Moco—This traditional Hawaiian favorite features steamed rice topped with a seven-ounce hamburger patty, OBH’s mushroom gravy and two eggs, and garnished with fried onion strings, $18.95.
Kalua Pork Benedict—Shredded slow-roasted Hawaiian-style pork shoulder on an English muffin with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, served with choice of potatoes, $18.95.
Hawaiian-Style Shrimp and Grits—Creamy coconut milk-infused grits topped with shrimp cooked in a butter-garlic sauce and finished with diced pineapple, diced Portuguese sausage and scallions, $19.50.
Fried Spam and Eggs—Pan-fried Spam slices topped with a sticky, glossy shoyu, brown sugar and water glaze, served with steamed jasmine rice and two eggs, $17.50
Banana Caramel Pancakes topped with crushed macadamia nuts, $16.
Lunch Plates, served with steamed jasmine rice and macaroni salad
Chicken Katsu—Tender chicken breast breaded in panko, deep fried and sliced, served with tonkatsu sauce on the side, $17.50.
Kalua Pork—Shredded slow-roasted Hawaiian-style pork shoulder, bursting with delicious smoky flavor, $17.50.
