Camelback Desert School Donates $900’s Worth of Gifts

Students and their families donated items to benefit local nonprofit Chrysalis

Students at Camelback Desert School recently donated $900’s worth of new toys to Chrysalis, an organization that helps community members impacted by domestic abuse. The donations were the result of a schoolwide drive to benefit children in need during the holidays. At the close of the toy drive, students helped load the gifts into vehicles for delivery to the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back, especially during the holiday season.

Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse. Through a comprehensive trauma-informed approach of services, Chrysalis aims to prevent domestic abuse.
