Catholic Charities Gears Up For Christmas Convoy Dec. 19

Catholic Charities Community Services is gearing up for the holidays and collaborating with State 48 Jeepers and others to spread some social distancing holiday cheer. On Saturday, Dec 19, festively decorated and lighted State 48 Jeepers and other outdoor enthusiasts will host a Christmas Convoy that will make its way through the Valley (Route maps are in the attached PDF)

State 48 Jeepers, an Arizona-based off-road, family centered adventure group, is sharing holiday cheer through their passion, JEEPS!

Beginning at 5 p.m., members’ vehicles aglow with Christmas lights and decorations will convoy to shine Christmas joy with Catholic Charities and Housing for Hope’s quality, affordable housing communities. The coronavirus has negatively impacted many, so the coordinated, socially distanced, family-friendly holiday ride is designed to bring us together.

State 48 Jeepers and Catholic Charities know 2020 has been especially difficult on the most vulnerable. This fun Christmas Convoy is guided by the north stars of affordable housing as a critically essential need for children, families, seniors and veterans. The route also highlights hospitals, senior living communities, restaurants, schools, parishes, city parks and more.

While the Christmas Convoy cannot list all groups and people of State 48, they thank and celebrate our many community, government, business and education heroes and wish every child, family and individual Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Keep shining bright Arizona!
