In addition to temporary closures as a result of the Coronavirus health emergency, City of Phoenix offices will be closed Tuesday, March 31, in observance of the César Chávez holiday.

Here's how other city services are affected by the holiday.
Solid Waste: Trash and recycling will be collected as usual. There will be no change in collection day. Please place your trash and recycling containers 4 feet apart at the curb by 5:30 a.m.

Transfer Stations: The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Transfer Stations will be closed.
Transit: Bus and light rail are running regular service on the holiday and Valley Metro Customer Service is open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Due to COVID-19 preventative measures the following transit centers are closed: Central Station, Ed Pastor, Sunnyslope and Metrocenter. Parking Meters: All parking meters are enforced 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including weekends and holidays.
