Delta Dental of Arizona Earns 12th Consecutive BenchmarkPortal Center of Excellence Recognition

For the 12th year in a row, Delta Dental of Arizona has earned the Center of Excellence certification by BenchmarkPortal. The Center of Excellence recognition is one of the most prestigious awards in the customer service and support industry, demonstrating Delta Dental of Arizona’s commitment to providing superior customer care.

BenchmarkPortal only awards the “Center of Excellence” designation to customer service contact centers that rank in the top 10% of the contact centers surveyed nationwide, demonstrating superior performance on both cost-related metrics and quality-related metrics compared with their industry peers.

In addition to this recognition, Delta Dental of Arizona’s contact center was honored as the No. 1 ranked center in the small-size category in BenchmarkPortal’s 2026 Top Contact Centers Contest. This is their second consecutive year earning the top position nationwide.

The contest participants were judged on 20 key efficiency and effectiveness performance indicators compared against those of all entrants in the Top Contact Center Contest. These include average contact handle time, calls per agent per hour, agent turnover, average speed of answer, customer and agent satisfaction and more.

This summer, Delta Dental of Arizona also received the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) Award for the 10th year in a row for its implementation of evidence-based health initiatives to improve the well-being of their employees, employees’ families, and communities. In addition, for the fourth consecutive year, Delta Dental was honored with the HAWP Platinum Award. The Platinum Award – the highest level of recognition – is presented to businesses making an impact both within and beyond their walls addressing one or more of the many health challenges impacting communities across the state. Platinum level awardees have demonstrated data driven programming and are leveraging cross-sector collaborations or partnerships improving the health, well-being, and equity of their community.
