Here are the top 3 stories today in Phoenix:

  1. Last week, an inmate escaped from custody in Birmingham, Alabama. Yesterday, he was taken into custody right here in Phoenix. According to reports, 45-year-old Phillip Bradford escaped while being transported to a hospital for medical care. He was in custody originally for first-degree armed robbery. Currently, he is in Maricopa County Jail pending extradition. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
  2. Airbnb, the world's largest short-term rental service, launched a temporary ban on parties and major events nearly two years ago in Arizona. Yesterday, the service codified the ban as a policy, making it a permanent ban. This ban has proven effective against destructive, loud, and dangerous parties that create havoc in otherwise quiet neighborhoods. For full details about the ban, please read the article.
