🌱 First Responder Academy Ends + Broadway At The Orpheum Series

Hello, neighbors! I'm here right on time with your Monday edition of the Phoenix Daily, full of all the things you need to know about what's happening locally.Keep scrolling for the scoop.

Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today:

  1. The American Theatre Guild and the Orpheum Theatre have announced shows for the 2022-2023 Broadway at the Orpheum Series. This season's lineup consists of Fiddler on the Roof, R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, and Anastasia. Patrons can become season members to receive the best seats at locked-in prices, as well as other perks like priority access and free parking. (Arizona's Family)
  2. Fourteen Arizona high school students are spending two weeks imagining how quality journalism might be delivered in the future. The seven-year-old camp is sponsored by The Arizona Republic and Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Campers return in person this year after a COVID-19 hiatus. (The Arizona Republic)
  3. The metro Phoenix area has plenty of special events queued up for Pride Month. Some events happening this June include the Miss Gay Arizona America 2022 'Drag of Ages,' the Desert Overture's 'D.O You Remember' concert, and the Arizona Diamondback's Pride Night. Additional Pride festivities will take place this fall as the temperatures cool down a bit. (The Arizona Republic)
