Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council Introduces Patch Pals™ and Girl Scout Sparkables™ for 2027

New for 2027: Patch Pals™ mark the first Girl Scout offering for dogs. Girl Scout Sparkables™ becomes its first allergy-friendly cookie.

Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) will bring two first-of-their-kind additions to central and northern Arizona during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie Season, expanding its lineup with Patch Pals™, its first offering for dogs, alongside Girl Scout Sparkables™, its first allergy-friendly cookie.

The all-new Patch Pals, developed with BARK, and Girl Scout Sparkables, developed with Partake®, will be offered exclusively online for shipping during the 2027 Cookie Season, joining longtime favorites including Thin Mints®, Samoas® and Tagalongs®.

These offerings were shaped in part by Girl Scouts nationwide who advocated for a cookie lineup that better reflects the different families and communities they serve.

Patch Pals are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies, with each featuring one of four patch designs inspired by signature Girl Scout experiences. The cookies were inspired by Girl Scouts’ love for dogs and the special bond between people and their pets.

Girl Scout Sparkables are crunchy oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. The first Girl Scout Cookie developed for families navigating certain food allergies, they are made in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens.

“These two new cookies stay true to our Girl Scout traditions while giving the community even more opportunities to enjoy delicious cookies and invest in local girls and their futures,” said Mary Mitchell, co-CEO of GSACPC. “One hundred percent of cookie proceeds raised stay within our Council, helping girls go to camp, travel with their troop, explore STEM programs and lead service projects for causes they are passionate about.”

The Girl Scout Cookie Program, the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world, gives girls hands-on experience building entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

The 2027 lineup will help girls build on a strong 2026 season for the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which saw them sell more than 2.3 million boxes across more than 90 communities in central and northern Arizona, averaging 339 boxes per participating Girl Scout.

“More than 6,800 Girl Scouts Council-wide took part in the 2026 cookie season, learning how to set goals, manage money, make decisions and communicate with customers,” said Christina Spicer, co-CEO of GSACPC. “In addition to in-person booths, girls also manage online shops and connect with customers through their own digital storefronts. The online-exclusive Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables give them something new to introduce and market in that space.”

More details on the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie Season, including local sale dates and ordering information, will be announced closer to the start of the season.
