Information About The Phoenix Public Arts Grant

One time emergency relief grants are available to local artists, non-profits and art organizations who have been hit hard due to the covid-19 pandemic. The Phoenix City Council approved in May, 2020 using $2.6 million in federal Coronavirus Relief Funding to assist the art community. The money will go towards lost revenue for canceled performances and events and local artists as well. Arts & Culture Executive Director Mitch Menchaca explains.
