Loose Dog On U.S. 60 In Gilbert Causes Traffic Headache
The state Department of Transportation confirmed a dog ran loose on U.S. 60 on Tuesday morning. Needless to say, traffic was backed up.

GILBERT, AZ — A dog running loose on a highway in Gilbert caused traffic to slow to a crawl Tuesday morning. The Arizona Department of Transportation confirmed to Patch that a dog caused traffic on the westbound side of U.S. Route 60 heading into Phoenix.
Photos posted on social media showed five lanes of bumper-to-bumper traffic on the westbound side of the highway around 8 a.m. PST. The eastbound side was clear.
The transit agency said the animal "exited at Val Vista on its own." The agency did not know the age or breed of the animal.

Watch for a puppy reported running loose on WB US 60 west of Valvista near Lindsay, all of the traffic in this picture is behind the puppy, no delay west of the puppy until you hit Gilbert pic.twitter.com/13F8kU9FF2
